Dennis & Kim are getting married on Saturday, September 10, 2022, and would like you to join them in celebrating!
Here is the skinny. Kim and Dennis met many years ago, they reconnected a little over a year ago, they got to know each other better and fell in love, then Dennis proposed at Circa 21, Kim said yes, then they got a house together, and now they are getting married. That about catches everyone up.
If you received an invitation you can come to the reception. If you stumble on this website by total accident, then don’t come or they will unleash the hounds of hell upon you. (Thor and Vern).
The party starts at 6:00 p.m. at their home. (901 46th Street Drive, Moline, IL). It is an “open house” style soiree (that’s fancy talk for “party”), so come and go as you like. They want everyone to feel comfortable, so the attire is casual. There is “on street” parking around their “compound” but it is probably easiest for you to park in the parking lot of the “Sprit, Mind and Body” annex of the Two Rivers YMCA, located at 1811 53 rd Street, Moline. A shuttle will then transport you to the destination. By the way, don’t park in the main YMCA lot or else burly, muscled gym rats will pummel you.
The party is mostly an outdoor affair. So, if the weather doesn’t cooperate there is a contingency plan. The wedding itself would still proceed and family and out of town guests will still celebrate (indoors) that day. But most guests would be invited to a “rain date” shindig later. We won’t share those details yet because we are all going to pray it isn’t necessary! Please check back here often to make sure we are full steam ahead!
PLEASE TAKE LOTS OF PICS AND VIDEO TO SHARE WITH US. BUT WE ARE GRATEFUL IF YOU DO NOT PUBLICLY POST.
Special thanks to everyone who helped put this celebration together, including Megan Cox, Michele Darland, Erin Churchill, Joe Janz and Jenifer Furness!
That’s it for this page. Please check back often to see if there are any changes to note. Also, check out the other links/tabs to learn more about the festivities.
